Crocheted Coasters Class

Summer is coming and it is time to crochet some fun little coasters. These coasters are made from 100% cotton yarn, and they soak up the icy water from glasses really well. In the class you will make one of three different coasters, depending on your level of experience with crochet. One pattern is especially for beginner crocheters who know chain stitch and single crochet. (We can teach you those stitches too if you are a complete novice!) The other two patterns are for advanced beginners who know a little more. After the class everyone will be comfortable crocheting in the round, will have learned how to double crochet, and will take away a completed coaster to use.

Materials needed:

  • 1 skein of worsted weight cotton yarn
  • 1 crochet hook size G
  • 2 stitch markers or paper clips- to mark the beginning of a round.
  • Needle to sew in ends

Date: Saturday, June 2
